We have all been counting down the days until Spring Break. Whether you’re going to be sunbathing in Florida or catching up on laundry right here in the Lehigh Valley, Spring Break can’t come soon enough. But, for some of us, Spring Break is more than a time to get away from school work. For some, it’s a time to give back. 22 Penn State Lehigh Valley students will be traveling to Texas City and Pot Neches, Texas to rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Ike. They will be working with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and accompanied by Mary Hutchinson, assistant professor of ESL education, and Marta Pira, continuing education administrator.
